UPS Shipping Costs and Rates

UPS will add a surcharge of 2% of the total amount paid on an invoice to invoices paid by credit card ("Credit Card Surcharge"). The Credit Card Surcharge will appear on the next invoice following the invoice paid by credit card. The surcharge is not applicable to ACH or debit card payments. The Credit Card Surcharge currently does not apply to accounts based in the following jurisdictions as reflected in UPS account information: Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New York, Puerto Rico, and Oklahoma.

Package

For invoices paid via credit card on or after October 26, 2024, an additional surcharge equal to 2% of the total amount paid will apply.

Effective October 21, 2024:

• The list of ZIP codes to which Area Surcharges apply will change. The current list of Area Surcharge ZIP Codes can be found here:

• With the exception of UPS Ground with Freight Pricing packages, Additional Handling Packages determined by length, width or length plus girth are subject to a minimum billable weight of 40 pounds. Additional Handling determined by weight or packaging/other factors will not be subject to Additional Handling minimum billable weight.

Effective December 23, 2024:

• The Daily Rates for UPS^® Ground, UPS Air and International services will increase an average net 5.9%.* This helps to support ongoing expansion and capability enhancements as we strive to maintain the high service levels you expect from UPS.

• The rates for certain Value-Added services and Other Charges will increase.

Preview 2025 Changes to Package Value-Added Services and Other Charges

Effective on or after January 27, 2025:

• Large Package Surcharge (LPS) will be determined using revised calculations based either on length, weight or cubic volume of shipments.
• Additional Handling Charge (AHC): The length plus girth definition for AHC will be replaced by a cubic volume definition to determine applicability of AHC. Other factors currently used to determine AHC applicability remain unchanged.
