If you have a UPS account number, the Fuel Surcharge will be included on your weekly bill. If you are an occasional UPS customer and do not receive a weekly bill, a Fuel Surcharge will be included in your charges.
The following table lists the Fuel Surcharges currently in effect and recent Fuel Surcharge history:

Regardless of the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) released average fuel prices or the tables below, the Fuel Surcharge percentages posted on the 90-Day Fuel Surcharge History table above in effect on the date of shipment will apply. The 90-Day Fuel Surcharge History table above is typically updated once per week with the most current Fuel Surcharge percentages. In the absence of updated weekly Fuel Surcharge percentages on the 90-Day Fuel Surcharge History table above, Fuel Surcharge percentages are in accordance with the tables below.
UPS uses an index-based surcharge that is adjusted weekly. Changes to the surcharge will be effective on Monday of each week. The surcharge will be based on the National U.S. Average On-Highway Diesel Fuel Price as most recently released by the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) rounded to the nearest cent. For example, the surcharge for the week of March 21, 2022 is based on the National U.S. Average On-Highway Diesel Fuel Price released by the EIA the week of March 14, 2022.
The U.S. Ground Domestic Fuel Surcharge and Ground Fuel Surcharge for UPS SurePost will be set in relation to the following table:

Fuel Surcharge percentages and thresholds are subject to change without prior notice. If the Fuel Surcharge falls outside the published range, the range will extend in $0.12 increments and the Fuel Surcharge will adjust in 0.25% increments.
For the released diesel fuel pricing information, please see the U.S. EIA's National U.S. Average On Highway Diesel Fuel Price. If the diesel fuel pricing information released by the EIA is delayed, UPS may use released diesel fuel pricing information from an earlier week.

UPS 3 Day Select® from Canada, UPS Worldwide Express Plus®, UPS Worldwide Express NA1®, UPS Worldwide Express®, UPS Worldwide Express Freight® Midday, UPS Worldwide Express Freight®, UPS Worldwide Saver®, UPS Worldwide Expedited®, and UPS Express Critical®.
The International Ground Export Import Fuel Surcharge will apply to charges for the following services:
UPS® Standard to/from Canada and UPS® Standard to/from Mexico.
Fuel surcharges apply to all domestic and international transportation charges and certain other accessorial, value-added and other charges.
