Simple Rate can be used to ship domestically to all 50 U.S. states. International shipments aren’t supported with Simple Rate.

You can create a UPS Simple Rate label online and bring your pre-labeled package—or your prepaid mobile barcode—to be shipped from any of The UPS Store locations. However, The UPS Store cannot create Simple Rate shipping labels in-store.

You don’t need special packaging to ship with Simple Rate. You have the flexibility to use any box or mailer to fit your item or brand up to one cubic foot in size (1,728 cubic inches).

If your package measures more than one cubic foot in size (1,728 cubic inches) or weighs over 50 pounds, you’ll have to use standard UPS rates based off dimensional weight and zone.

You can utilize printed return labels with Simple Rate.

You can purchase branded boxes through UPS, while qualifying customers of the UPS Digital Connections program are able to receive a subsidy to purchase Simple Rate boxes.

Customers are also allowed to use their own boxes or mailers that fit their item or brand.
