UPS Ready^® Business Solutions

For new accounts or accounts that haven’t recently generated an invoice, you’ll only need your UPS Account Number, country code and postal code to connect to a UPS Ready partner. To authenticate (or connect) an existing account, you’ll need your UPS Account Number, country code, postal code, invoice number, invoice amount, invoice date and control ID number (if present).

If your account is new or hasn’t generated an invoice within the past 90 days (US & Canada) or 45 days (all other countries), you’re still able to connect to a UPS Ready partner using your valid UPS Account Number, country code and postal code.

To check and confirm your official account address, log in to your UPS account and find your address in your profile, or contact your Account Executive, if you have one. Even if the invoice address is different, the address used when registering for a UPS Ready partner solution must match the address listed for your UPS Account Number.

Your account must be set up for negotiated rates, and be authenticated (or connected) if it has generated an invoice within 90 days (US & Canada) and 45 days (all other countries).

A validation attempt is when you enter an address and/or invoice data during UPS registration setup in a UPS Ready partner's solution, then clicking to the next step. After three unsuccessful account validation attempts, UPS will block additional validation attempts for 24 hours. To avoid this, check that all information on the page is correct prior to submitting.

The UPS Developer Portal offers a self-serve path for solutions to integrate with UPS APIs to serve mutual customers without officially being in the UPS Ready Program. However, established solutions may have further engagement opportunities beyond the self-serve path.

UPS Ready enables UPS functionality for customers using third-party solutions. These certified solutions enable customers to connect to UPS to ship, rate, track and more through API technologies that meet customers where they are.

UPS Ready partners enable shipping through a variety of solutions in their different areas of expertise, from e-commerce to multi-channel order management.
