Daily Rates
Daily rates will apply if you have a scheduled UPS pickup, or have a UPS contract that provides you with daily rates.
Retail Rates
Retail rates will apply if you ship from a UPS location, don’t have a payment account or scheduled pickup service with UPS, or you ship infrequently using a payment card.
Air Freight Rates
For larger shipments that may or may not require a pallet, Air Freight can include other services like pickup, collection, delivery and customs clearance.

Effective August 17, 2025:
Domestic Large Package Surcharge (LPS):
- LPS will no longer be applied to Domestic Packages based on length plus girth.
- Domestic Packages with a cubic size greater than 17,280 cubic inches will be subject to LPS
- Domestic Packages that weigh over 110 lbs will be subject LPS
- Other factors currently used to determine LPS applicability will remain unchanged.

Effective June 2, 2025 UPS will introduce an International Collect on Delivery (ICOD) fee of $12 USD. This new fee will be charged to the U.S. consignee at delivery along with any unpaid duties, taxes, and other fees for the shipment.
This change does not apply if duties and taxes are billed to a UPS account number prior to delivery.
Consignees can also avoid the ICOD fee if they pay the applicable customs charges electronically, prior to delivery, through the UPS International Pre Payment Application (IPPA).
IPPA can be accessed in two ways:

Shipment payment notification
- Requires shipper to provide recipient’s contact information (name, email, phone)
- Recipient must have already accepted opt-in terms for notifications from UPS

Effective May 12, 2025, the UPS International Ground Export Import Fuel Surcharge and the UPS International Air-Export and International Air-Import Fuel Surcharge will change. Details on these changes can be found using the link below:
Effective June 2, 2025:

The applicable Zone will change for certain origin/destination ZIP code pairs. Revised zone charts will be available via UPS.com beginning June 2, 2025.

Additional Handling and Large Package Surcharges for Zones 7 and above will change to:
- Additional Handling Weight: $55.00
- Additional Handling Dimensions (Length, Length + Girth or Width): $38.00
- Additional Handling Packaging/Other: $31.50
- Large Package Commercial: $260.00
- Large Package Residential: $305.00

Remote Area Zip Codes in the U.S. 48 contiguous states will apply a Remote Area Surcharge to Ground Saver packages.

The Shipping Charge Correction Audit Fee will be the greater of:
- $1.65 per package subject to a shipping charge correction during the applicable invoice period; or
- 12% of the total amount of shipping charge corrections during the applicable invoice period.

The Over Maximum Limits fee for packages will be changed to $1,775.

A new International Collect on Delivery (ICOD) fee of $12.00 will be added effective June 2nd

UPS rate updates help to support ongoing expansion and capability enhancements as we strive to maintain the high service levels you expect from UPS.
UPS is making the following changes to U.S. Export and Imports Paper Commercial Invoice Services.
Effective May 26, 2025:
- Paper Commercial Invoice Services Surcharge: A fee of $12.00 per shipment and will be applied to the shipper when the commercial invoice is not provided by the shipper in digital form using UPS Paperless® Invoice services prior to the processing of the commercial invoice by UPS.
Effective March 10, 2025, the U.S. Ground Domestic and the UPS SurePost® Fuel Surcharge and the U.S. Domestic Air Fuel Surcharge will change. Details on these changes can be found using the link below:

Effective March 31, 2025:
- Print Invoice Fee: A fee of $5.00 per invoice copy will apply for each printed copy of a UPS invoice sent to shippers or other payors.
- Check Fee and Wire Fee: Payments made by check or wire transfer on or after March 31, 2025 will be assessed a fee of $25.00 per payment. This fee will not apply to ACH payments.
- The Late Payment Fee will increase from 8% to 9.9% of the total past due invoice balance, including past due late fees.
Effective May 19, 2025:
- A Payment Processing Fee equal to 2% of all other invoice charges will be added to each invoice.
- The Credit Card Surcharge will no longer apply.
