Service Guarantee
The UPS® Service Guarantee is currently active for the below Air and International services:
Domestic
- UPS Next Day Air® Early
- UPS Next Day Air®
- UPS Next Day Air Saver®
- UPS 2nd Day Air A.M.®
International
- UPS Worldwide Express Plus®
- UPS Worldwide Express®
- UPS Worldwide Express NA1®
- UPS Worldwide Express Saver®
- UPS Worldwide Saver®
- UPS Worldwide Express Freight® Midday
- UPS Worldwide Express Freight®
Until further notice, the guaranteed delivery time for UPS Next Day Air Saver® deliveries has been extended to end-of-day (11:59 p.m. on the guaranteed day of delivery).
The UPS Service Guarantee remains suspended for all other UPS® shipments and services not specified in the above sections, from any origin to any destination.
For your convenience, The UPS Store® and UPS Access Point® locations all provide access to your vital deliveries. Where available, you can sign up for free UPS My Choice® service which enables you to provide more specific delivery instructions such as where to leave deliveries, or redirect deliveries to another location, and also provides you with the ability to receive delivery notifications.

Operational Adjustments
Year-End Holiday Schedule Update:
UPS Air and International Air
Scheduled delivery times for Air and international Air packages scheduled for delivery Nov. 28 – Dec. 31 will be extended as follows:
UPS Next Day Air® Early and UPS Worldwide Express Plus® services will be extended by 90 minutes, UPS Next Day Air®, UPS Worldwide Express®, and UPS 2nd Day Air® AM services to commercial locations with a typical 10:30 AM or 12:00 PM delivery time will be extended to 3:00 PM. UPS Next Day Air® and UPS Worldwide Express® services to residential locations and all other time definite Air and International Air services will be extended to end-of-day.
A limited number of UPS 2nd Day Air® and UPS 3 Day Select® packages tendered as follows may require an additional day in transit:
- UPS 2nd Day Air® tendered on: Dec. 15, Dec. 16, and Dec. 17
- UPS 3 Day Select® tendered on: Dec. 1, Dec. 2, Dec. 8, Dec. 9, Dec. 15, and Dec. 16

UPS® Ground and UPS® Standard
From Nov. 17, 2025 – Jan. 9, 2026, a limited number of UPS® Ground and UPS® Standard packages will require additional time in transit. The most up-to-date transit time details will be available at ups.com/ctc at the time of shipping.
Update: Due to the situation in Ukraine the following UPS services have been temporarily suspended:
- All international shipping services to and from Ukraine
- All international shipping services to and from Russia
- All international shipping services to and from Belarus
Packages in transit that cannot be delivered will be returned free of charge to the sender where possible.
Effective October 18, 2021 and until further notice, UPS is making the following operational adjustments:
Delivery commitment times for UPS Next Day Air® destined to residential locations with a typical delivery time of 10:30 AM will be extended to 12:00 PM. Any applicable Service Guarantee with respect to these packages will be based on these revised delivery commitment times.
